Christmas in Mexico!
Why christmas? Because 88% of its population is Roman Catholic. We learn about the culture and the language. La flor de noche buena, or poinsettia is a flower commonly used for Christmas decor and the poinsettia species is native to Mexico.
Dia de los Muertos!
Students create a craft and learn about the mesoamerican rooted tradition that is celebrated in Mexico and parts of Central America.
